Which BANGTEL property did you Bach at?

What was your theme?

Joellapalooza!! 😃

Why did you pick this location?

Originally we had planned to go to New Orleans for the bach party but it was right around the time Hurricane Ida hit! My bridal party immediately went into full planning mode at this AMAZING location and it was beyond perfect. Such a fun spot that was close to everything!

What resources did you use to make the stay just right for the event?

One of my favorite TV shows is Chopped! So we utilized the kitchen at BANGTEL and it was perfect!

We hired a “Manservant” that night and be helped bartend and made sure everyone had a fun cocktail while participating in the cooking competition!

Winner of the Chopped Competition. 🏆

We also had a photographer come and do a photoshoot of the bachelorette party where we started out at BANGTEL before hitting the town! 📸

The pictures came out so great and the space was open and extremely Instagramable for us all to have a blast with the photoshoot! The outdoor patio was a great place to hang out at the end of the night, and there was plenty of room for all of us!

Was there a weekend itinerary? If so, please share in detail!

THURSDAY - Our first night, we played “Chopped with Chow” and just hung out at BANGTEL since some guests were arriving later than others. 🔪

We had a bartender come over as well to help us create drinks for everyone to enjoy. This night we also opened gifts for the panty party! 👙

There was also a little craft table where the guests could make their own jewelry to wear for our “Dazed and Engaged” Cabana Day! 😵‍💫

FRIDAY - The following day, we went and spent it at a cabana and enjoyed cocktails all day! Even though we got rained out, we didn't let that stop the party! We moved over to the dry area and enjoyed our food and cocktails there. When we came home, it was time to wig out! This was the night we had the Photographer (@shotwithdaylite - De'Juan) come to BANGTEL and snap great shots of us there and on our way out.

Dinner was at Paradise Park pizza and the food and atmosphere was great! 🍕

On our way out, we saw a laundromat and one of my bridesmen knew it would be a great photo opportunity! 🧺

We had so much fun on our night out! We ended our night at Whisky Business with frozen cocktails on their rooftop! 🍹

SATURDAY- We started our morning with breakfast and began to clean up since this was our final day at BANGTEL. Once everything was cleaned, we got ready for our bungee workout class at Aspis! It was such a creative and fun workout! Although-I highly do not recommend if you are still recovering from the night before! I got a little motion sick from the bungee-ing, but it was still so fun and we laugh about it so much today! The class was great and we were definitely sweating before the wedding!

This night was ALL ABOUT JOE! Everyone dressed up as a different "Joe" for our night on the town.  We had Joe Exotic, Joe Dirt, Joe's Crab Shack, Trader Joe's, Kangaroo baby Joey, G.I. Joe and more, while I was “The One and Only!” Dinner was burgers at Small Cheval and they were heavenly!🍔

After dinner, we all went to an amazing traveling Drag Show! This group tours around the USA and utilizes existing venues for a fun pop up night!

After the show, we went on a night booze cruise to see and watch the fireworks!

🛳️ It was a gorgeous and fun end to the night that really went off with a BANG! Literally. 😆

SUNDAY- Party's over and sadly we say our goodbyes! We left pretty early around 8am, but it was the most amazing weekend ever and I couldn't wait to see everyone again at the wedding! ✌🏽

Any tips for future Bachelorettes on how to throw the best Bach party?

My advice would be to be sure to always have a backup plan just in case! It was amazing how all of this was planned on such short notice and we are so appreciative BANGTEL was so accommodating to our planning. Not to mention, the concierge service and special welcome amenity was the best personal touch!

As the bride, I wanted to be sure everyone was having a great time. Not everyone knew each other prior to meeting, so I felt it was my job to make introductions and make everyone comfortable to be there. It was amazing to see how many of the guests got along so well after just meeting. By the end of the weekend, you would have thought some had known each other for years!

From Nicole (older sister to the bride and Matron of Honor) - I had started email chains months in advance to get the girls connected and sent out welcome packets that got everyone excited! Inside contained a pamphlet with everything you should “Know Before You Go”, wristbands to fit our Joellapalooza theme, luggage tags, lanyards with important information in case you got lost on the town, and the Venmo square info!

Any weekend bloopers?

Sometimes being the center of attention makes me uncomfortable and during the drag show there was another bachelorette party attending the show as well. Both of us were called to the stage and that was our time to shine! The other bride really stole the show and it was just so fun getting to know her! Fun fact- we had the same wedding date! While I was visibly shy on stage, it was hilarious to experience and rewatch. 🙈

Bachelorette's crew drink of choice for the weekend?

We had a full bar at BANGTEL! We kicked off the party with some Prosecco and mixed drinks were made throughout the night! Plenty of vodka and tequila to go around! We also had plenty of beers and seltzers in the fridge as well! 🍾 🍻
